A love letter to Paris

How to fall in love with Paris

For many, uttering "Paris" immediately conjures images of the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre, defining the city through its iconic monuments and museums.

Personally, my love of Paris lies in the subtleties—the street signs, lamp posts, park chairs, and quaint bistro tables spilling onto the streets.

I love the first bite of a croissant, the crunch of a baguette, and hearing the noise of the city streets. I find beauty in it all.

I'm often asked 'What's my favourite thing to do in Paris'. My response is always, 'nothing' and 'everything'.

I've become a real flâneur—a French term for a leisurely stroller or loafer. I love nothing more than wandering through the Parisian streets, savouring every detail, taking leisurely breaks in cafés or gardens, never rushing, only observing.

Admittedly, I wasn't always this way. Like most travellers, I initially succumbed to the excitement of Paris and attempted to see it all. However, I've come to understand that the key to true joy in visiting Paris is to do as little as possible.

My best advice is to let go of any plans and allow the city to unfold before you—only then will you truly fall in love with Paris.

P.S. If you're a Paris lover too, I've got a special offer for you that I think you're going to love in this week's newsletter 💙🤍❤️
